100% DONATION POLICY

Donations change lives, this is why Omniya Trust runs a 100% donation policy

Your donations help special needs children reach their full potential through practical and emotional support.  We change the lives of these children by providing access to the services, equipment and therapies they so desperately need. A 100% donation policy means that every single penny donated is used strictly for charitable purposes. All the charity’s administration costs are covered by donations from our trustees and if required, the tax reclaimed from UK donations through the Gift Aid scheme.

YOUR DONATIONS

Omniya Trust understands the responsibility and the accountability that comes with handling your kind donations. We are committed to working with complete transparency to further the causes that you have donated towards. When donating via the website or via bank transfer, please indicate the charitable aim(s) you wish your donation to be applied to and we will treat these donations as restricted funds. Any donations without an indicated charitable aim will be used for any of the trust’s projects at the discretion of the trustees.

If we collect insufficient funds to complete the charitable works for which you have donated, the trustees will use their discretion to move additional funds from general funds to complete the project. If the charitable need for which we have collected for no longer exists or has been completed, then the trustees will use their discretion to ascertain the intention of the donors and any surplus funds would be allocated towards another appropriate project.

GIFT AID

Where we are able to collect Gift Aid from UK taxpayers, this is prioritised towards administration costs.  Any Gift Aid collected which is surplus to our requirements due to donations from our trustees will be placed into the charity general fund.
