Special Needs schools attended the Inclusive Sports Festival hosted by the Beaconhouse Boys Branch, Faisalabad. Students from mainstream and special needs schools joined together for an inclusive sports event. Participants from a variety of mainstream and special needs schools played in mixed ability teams under the house system of BSS.
The event was attended by the chief guests, Mr Ali Ahmed Khan, the Chief Operating Officer of the Beaconhouse System, Pakistan and Mr Chaudry Abdul Hameed, the District Officer Special Education, Faisalabad. Mr Khan expressing his delight at the success of the first event has stated his aim is to establish the inclusive sports day as an annual, countrywide feature in all Beaconhouse schools.
The event attracted extensive media coverage with features on TV and radio stations.
