The establishment of a new purpose-built Special Needs school based in Faisalabad is one of Omniya Trust’s main long-term objectives. The new facility will replace the rented property. There are many issues with the current building which deem it unsuitable for the specialised needs and the increasing number of disabled users. With the construction of an appropriate building, the team will be able to expand their services and create a safer environment for the students.
Due to the dire economic repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, Omniya Trust have had to pivot our focus and resources into the creation of a task force established to raise finance to help the poor and vulnerable in Pakistan. Our plans for fundraising events for the new building have been delayed but we hope to get back on track as soon as possible.
